Its finals week and I am shitting my pants so to speak about Wednesday's exam...I have no clue how its going to be and just as usual I have this guilty feeling of having started with everything way too late...which is why until Wednesday 9am in the morning I am on damage control mode :-D Hence, no blogging, no internet, no nothing:

The weekend is here!!! Yaaayyy....already been out thursday, yesterday and today I will join a Eurovision Song Contest party since this competition is kind of a a major deal in Sweden. I am really curious to see who wins in the end though Austria - thankfully - didn't make the cut. Since our entries are usually beyond embarrassing I rather not have entire Europe see it anyways :-D Since yesterday we have the absolute most fantastic weather with lots of sun and hot temperatures (these pics are 3 days old!) and I actually cheated a tiny beat on my week long less carbs "diet" as I had 2 macarons on Wednesday and some ice cream yesterday. But I just can't go about hot temperatures and not have ice cream. I mean in Vienna, I usually eat frozen yoghurt with fruits and nuts but they don't have that here in Sweden. At least where I live. Now I gotta get my ass outside and soak up the sun :-)

Juuhhuuuu Wochenende! Ich bin bereits Donnerstag und gestern ausgegangen. War ziemlich lustig wenn auch teilweise sehr skuril (die Schweden trinken halt sehr viel!). Heute bin ich auf einer Eurovision Songcontest Party eingeladen nachdem es wohl faktisch in Schweden ne Todsünde is dieser Veranstaltung nicht zu folgen  haha Ich bin ja schon gespannt wer gewinnt und ich bin auch nicht traurig das Österreich bereits im Halbfinale ausgeschieden is da unsere Beiträge meist peinlich und unnötig sind und es somit besser ist wenn nicht ganz Europa sie zu sehen bekommt! :-D Die Fotos hier sind 3 Tage alt. Seit gestern haben wir absolut herrliches Wetter mit richtigen Sommertemperaturen. Aus diesem Grund hab ich bei meinem Essensplan für weniger Kohlenhydrate auch ein wenig geschummelt und mir gestern ein Eis geholt. Hätte ja lieber ein Frozen yoghurt gehabt aber das gibt es hier in Schweden wo ich wohne nicht. So, und jetzt muss ich schnell nach draußen, die Sonne ruft :-)

Blogger Spam

So the other day Gozika, Milla and me decided to use the good weather and shoot our outfit pics outside...and while we were at it we were making fun of each other. And so it happened that I actually decided to photobomb one of Gozika's outfit pics but instead of "photobomb alert" I said "Spam Alert" (yeah yeah damn u English!) haha and well, I guess its our catch phrase from now on or more like an inside joke. Anyways, it feels like the more people the funnier is picture taking. And Milla is very talented at that which is why we used here as photographer for other outfit pics as well :-) There were some pretty damn god fashion moments happening I tell you! So go and check out their Blogs as well...NOW!!!

Neulich beschlossen ich und meine 2 Blogger-Mitbewohnerinnen, Gozika und Milla, die Schönwetter-Tage zu nutzen und unsere Outfits abzulichten. Normalerweise sind wir immer zu zweit. Diesmal waren wir also zu dritt und so hatte einer immer die Möglichkeit sich über den anderen lustig zu machen :-D (Was tut man nicht alles für ein gutes Foto haha). Und wie es so kommt entschloss ich einfach mal Gozika aus dem Konzept zu bringen und ins Foto zu springen. Aber statt "Achtung Photobombe" zu rufen hab ich "Achtung Spam" gerufen und ich hab keine Ahnung wieso...manchmal bring ich halt mein Englisch durcheinander. Gozika fand das natürlich super komisch und schon hab ich meine eigene Catchphrase oder mehr sowas wie einen Inside joke :-) Jedenfalls kann ich sagen, je mehr Leute desto lustiger die Fotos! Und Milla ist supertalentiert. Und weil wir an mehr Tagen zusammen Fotos geschossen haben und dabei echt gute Outfits drauf sind rate ich euch schleunigst bei den Blogs der Mädels vorbeizuschaun!!!!

Make the most out of it!

So the other day the lovely Milla from Kookyswank and I decided to ceize the early ending of our lecture and go for some coffee and simply enjoy the sun...you know, while it lasts. I kinda decided for myself to make the most out of the last weeks here in Sweden before summer break. This means no boring sitting at home on weekends, going out for coffee and drinks more often and generally soaking up the sun and the surrounding nature. We'll see if I achieve the unachievable and get homesick for Boras once I leave this town haha never say never :-D

Neulich haben Milla und ich das Beste aus dem unerwartet frühen Ende unserer Vorlesung gemacht und sind in unser Stammlokal um die Ecke gegangen um Kaffee zu trinken und anschließend im Park die Sonne zu genießen. Ihr wisst schon, solange sie da ist! Ich habe unlängst beschlossen das Beste aus den letzten Wochen hier in Schweden vor der Sommerpause zu machen. Das heißt so viel wie, kein langweiliges rumstzen daheim am Wochenende, generell mehr auszugehen auch unter der Woche und die Natur und die Sonne rund um unser Apartment mehr zu genießen. Vielleicht gelingt mir ja das Unmögliche und ich bekomme Heimweh nach Boras sobald ich es verlasse :D Man weiß ja nie!

The Countdown ends here...

So here's the rest of my outfit, as promised. I absolutely love the bright orange shades. Too bad they're not mine but actually belong to my roommate Milla. She has a pretty rad sunglass collection. And impeccable taste when choosing them :-) I kinda like this urban laid back feeling of this outfit. Cool and supercomfy. But now to more serious business...I have to pack my suitcase. And I absolutely hate it. I am always terrified and push it back to the last minute. I just hope it won't get too heavy (I hate carrying it around!) and I get everything in there that's supposed to come with me to Vienna. Wish me luck, I will need it! The next days I will try to keep you updated but I will also be very busy with family gatherings and eating shitloads of food. Mission: To roll back to Boras and gain at least 10kg haha

Hier der Rest des Outfits. Ich liebe die grell-orangenen Sonnebrillen. Schade dass ich sie nicht mein Eigen nennen kann. Sie gehören nämlich meiner lieben Mitbewohnerin Milla. Die hat ne richtig tolle Sammlung an ausgefallenen Sonnenbrillen! Ich mag das Outfit übrigens sehr. Hat ein urbanes Feeling und ist sehr bequem :-) Aber nun zu wichtigerem...ich muss meinen verdammten Koffer für morgen packen und ich hasse Kofferpacken!!! Ich schiebs jedes Mal bis zur letzten Minute auf und es wird wohl auch diesmal im Chaos enden..wünscht mir Glück! Die nächsten Tage werde ich versuchen euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten aber ich werde auf jeden Fall sehr gestresst sein mit zig Familientreffen und vor allem dem Verzehr des ganzen guten Essens. Meine Oma bekocht mich ja immer fleißig. Mission: Nach Boras zurückrollen und mind. 10 Kilo zunehmen haha

Like a Hobo

Gosh I really consider myself very lucky given the fact that I live with girls that have closets filled with the most amazing clothes. On the forefront, my girl Milla. Girl has impeccable taste and always finds the coolest vintage treasures. Like this coat. Made in Austria. I am so jealous! Oh my! Luckily for me, Milla was willing to borrow it to me to complete this look :-D And you know what, girlfriend not only has an amazing style, she also makes the best Blog pictures! Seriously, with her it takes like 2 min to get the job done hehe Btw, in these close-ups Milla tried to capture my bright blue mascara. Right now I really love to wear it when the sun is able to capture the almost neon blue color. Definitely a fun wear! And very cool with brown eyes :))

Ich kann mich wirklich als modetechnischer Glückspilz bezeichnen da ich Mitbewohnerinnen hab die Kleiderschränke gefüllt mit den tollsten Klamotten haben. Vor allem Sachen, die man nicht überall bekommt. Allen voran meine Zimmernachbarin Milla die ständig auf der Suche nach neuen Vintage-Teilen ist. So hat sie diese Jacke in Stockholm gefunden. Made in Österreich :-D Habs gar nicht glauben können. Ich bin richtig neidisch denn das Teil sieht nicht nur super aus sondern ist auch warm und bequem! Ich war superhappy dass sie mir die Jacke heute geliehen hat! So nebenbei schießt Milla auch immer die besten Blogfotos von mir. Mit ihr gehts immer superschnell. 2 min und 10 Fotos später hab ich genau was ich brauche. Das nenne ich norwegische Effizienz haha Wie ihr sehen könnt trage ich auf den Fotos blaue Mascara. Ich finds lustig und mal was anderes. Abgesehen davon find ich es bei braunen Augen auch richtig toll! Ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache :))

Old School

So here's 2 pics taken sometime this week by my roommate. Number 1 is on the way to school, wearing my Aqua-colored ZARA coat and number 2 is actually taken in class, during break. As you can see I am wearing my running shoes at University. I kinda was a bit in a hurry that morning...you know, oversleeping and stuff. Hence, the unkempt hair and the shoes haha

Hier 2 Handyschnappschüssen von dieser Woche. Das erste Bild wurde auf dem Weg in die Uni aufgenommen. Ich trage meinen Lieblingsmantel von ZARA. Das zweite Foto wurde im Vorlesungssaal in der Pause aufgenommen. An dem Tag hab ich irgendwie verschlafen und hatte auch generell überhaupt keinen Plan HAHA deswegen auch die Turnschuhe - ich musste zur Uni laufen - und die eher unfrisierten Haare. :-)

Hippe Black Out

 

So back to the old black on black days. The sun is still shining but temperatures are dropping at an exhilarating rate....I still hope that I will be spared of some additional snow and that the sun stays. Speaking of sun, I recently found myself checking into the tanning salon in recent months just to get a dose of warm feeling on my skin. And it's been working wonders. I did not really get an excessive tan (not that this was the goal anyways!) but my mood gets lifted instantly when I was at the tanning salon. I feel really relaxed. Probably also because I always pretend I am lying on the beach instead of the tanning bed haha But don't take this as advertisement to go tanning excessively! I really don't go often, in the last 3 months I've been like maybe 6 times. It just helps against cold weather, missing sun (and the fact that it still gets dark here very early!) and a general feeling of depression, or winter depression as I like to call it. Other than that I NEVER go to the tanning salon as I do not support excessive tanning (I wear SPF on my face everyday and tons of sunscreen as soon as I can wear shorts or shirts outside!). But yeah, from time to time one needs something to lift the mood and you can only eat so much chocolate HAHA ;-)

Back to Basics...es ist mal wieder Zeit für ein komplett schwarzes Outfit. Die Sonne strahlt immer noch aber leider sind die wärmeren Temperaturen wieder Geschichte. Das war das letzte Outfit ohne Jacke. Trotzdem hoff ich stark dass mir Schnee erspart bleibt! Da wir von wärmeren Temperaturen sprechen, in den letzten 3 Monaten war ich ein paar mal für ein paar Minuten im Sonnenstudio und das wirkt wahre Wunder gegen Winterdepression. Ich bin zwar nicht brauner geworden (nicht dass das Ziel gewesen wäre) aber ich habe mich jedes Mal so viel besser und entspannter gefühlt durch das warme Gefühl auf der Haut. Hat wohl auch nicht geschadet dass ich mir immer vorstelle ich liege am Strand statt im Sonnenbett :-D Aber das soll jetzt auch keine Werbung für exzessives Bräunen im Sonnenstudio sein denn davon halt ich gar nichts. Ich geh normalerweise nicht mal im Winter aber hier geht die Sonne immer so früh unter bzw ist es schon ein Wunder wenn man sie überhaupt zu Gesicht bekommt. Ansonsten bin ich immer übervorsichtig was die Sonne betrifft (ich trage JEDEN Tag SPF im Gesicht), vor allem im Sommer wo ich LSF50 verwenden muss um nicht auszusehen wie ein Krebs haha Aber ja, manchmal braucht man Aufmunterung von der Winterdepression und ich kann nur so viel Schokolade essen :-D

I am so over the moon! These days the weather here treats me so well and today was one of the best days EVER...weather-wise that is! So it was a no-brainer that my roomie Sandy and I went out to ceize the day and take some snapshots in the sun. With spring right around the corner I actually felt like wearing something girly, hence the flower skirt. You see, the sun seems to have an effect on my dressing most definitely. (proof: my baby pink outfit from earlier in the week). Anyways, apparently its supposed to get cold again so I need to soak up as much sun as possible. Sheesh, time passes so quickly. First week of March already over, 2 1/2 more to go until I touch Austrian ground. Yaaayyyy! Now back to business...

Leute ich glaubs nicht. Das Wetter hier im Moment ist echt ein Traum. Es ist zwar immer noch um einiges kälter als bspw. in Wien aber die Sonne scheint ununterbrochen. Einige von euch fragen sich jetzt vielleicht was daran so besonders ist wo der Frühling doch auf dem Weg ist. Jedoch wohne ich in der verregnetsten Stadt Schwedens (Rekord seit ich hier bin: 28 Tage Dauerregen). Umso freuts mich dass ich jetzt endlich wieder ordentliche Fotos bei Sonnenschein schießen kann! Außerdem hab ich das Gefühl die Sonne wirkt sich ein wenig auf meinen Kleidungsstil aus. Das ist das zweite Mal diese Woche dass ich Rosa trage :-D
Trotzdem wirds hier wohl wieder um einiges kühler werden also muss ich vor nächster Woche so viel Sonne tanken wie nur möglich! Die Zeit vergeht ja wie im Flug, die erste Märzwoche schon wieder vorbei. In 20 Tagen berühre ich dann erstmals seit August wieder österreichischen Boden...yaaaayyy!

50 shades of P!NK

OMG sunshine! I am getting blind fellas....never had this much sun ever since I've moved here. Fingers crossed Mr. Spring is on his way :-) Here u can see one of my favourite girly ensembles - a nice change from the usual black - with my Babypink Zara dress and Mango Sweater. All combined with my neon pink lipstick in "Quick Sizzle" from my lipstick brand #1 MAC! This week is going to include lots of project work (being all entrepreneurial and stuff) and lots of chillaxing on the weekend hopefully. Btw, I am so hooked on this App game "Candy Crush Saga" and unfortunately my colleague Saga told me that if you change the date on your tablet you immediately recharge all your "lives" so I've been wasting lots of late hours trying to move forward to the next levels these days haha :-D Yeah yeah, I can be all geeky at times...

OMG liebe Leute....SONNE! Ich kanns kaum glauben, so viel gabs hier noch nie! Ich hoff das der Frühling sich bald durchsetzt und nicht wie meine skandinavischen Mitbewohner meinen der Winter zurück kommt. Ich kann die dicken Winterjacken schon nicht mehr sehen! Mein Outfit des Tages ist eins meiner Lieblingsensemlbe - weil nicht black on black und mädchenhaft. Pulli ist von Mango, Kleid von Zara. Alles gepaart mit meinem Neonpinken Lippenstift von MAC (beste Lippenstifte!). Diese Woche hab ich ne Menge Projektarbeit (Versuch innovativ zu sein haha) und am Wochenende kann ich dann hoffentlich entspannen. Übrigens bin ich zurzeit total süchtig nach dem Spiel "Candy Crush Saga". Vor allem wo mir meine Studienkollegin einen Trick verraten hat wie man gleich wieder alle Leben bekommt ohne warten: Einfach das Datum am Handy/Tablet/Computer ändern :O Jaja, manchmal muss man eben nerdy sein...

Sweater Love!

 

I absolutely adore this pink sweater. Got it 2 years ago from Zara. Once I will get back to Vienna I will so definitely search for this in my basement. Yep, this will be the first "victim" of my closet shopping efforts HA! My purse will be delighted :-)

Ich vergöttere diesen Pullover und es ist mir absolut ein Rätsel wieso ich ihn nicht mit nach Schweden genommen hab?! Ich hab ihn vor etwa 2 Jahren bei Zara ergattert und seitdem viele male getragen. Ich kanns also kaum erwarten wenn ich in 3 Wochen nach Wien fliege, nach dem guten Stück zu suchen. Und meine Geldbörse freut sich über mein "Kleiderschrank-shopping" noch viel mehr :-)
